We’re celebrating four years at the helm the best way we know how - by throwing all of us a party! Our speakeasy gala, nodding at our neighbourhood’s clandestine past, kicks off at 1920hrs, commemorating the year our building at 1 Keong Saik was built. Specially curated food and drinks are just the start - we’re going for a celebration much more profound, including our own Silent Auction, with proceeds going to our beneficiary at Daughters of Tomorrow.
Amongst our new friends and partnerships that we’ll be revealing through the evening, we’re also setting up an art booth for you to stroke your brushes, and we’re combining your work with visual artist PenguinGirl’s finesse for a mural displaying proudly on 1 Keong Saik’s facade! Let’s meet at 1KS Café from 1800hrs, where you can enjoy a sneak peek of a flea market by our friends at Project WXY taking place in our corridors through the weekend. Lots going on, and it’s all kicking off!
*We’ll be dropping hints to our speakeasy password through our Instagram stories at @theworkingcapitol. High time you gave us a follow!
the working cocktails
We've curated 4 cocktails for to tingle your tastebuds, one for each year of The Working Capitol. bottoms up!
the working title
The Working Capitol was born when an old biscuit factory on Keong Saik Road was transformed into a unique coworking and lifestyle destination, combining Ben’s passion for revitalising spaces with Saranta’s belief that a strong culture is needed to bind people and foster a community. The Working Capitol opened with the aim to challenge the conventional working life while empowering people to do their best work.
The first cocktail on offer captures the excitement and invigoration of 2015, immaculately bringing together gin, chrysanthemum syrup, lemon juice, and soda.
we've got a facebook event page and all!
